Costa Rica 2006 Day One: San José to San José

After a wonderful, if painful, trip to Peru last year, we opted for something a little less strenuous for our vacation this year. The same friends that recommended Explorandes when we went to Peru recommended that we use Costa Rica Expeditions for this trip. It was another really easy booking experience and we had a wonderful trip.

We luckily found cheap flights from San José, CA to San José, CR, so we had a 15 minute ride to the airport. It is sure a lot nicer if we don’t have to spend an hour just getting to the airport.

When we got to San José, we were met by a Costa Rica Expeditions rep who took us straight to our hotel. The hotel was lovely, but it was just a quick overnight stay. We saved exploring San José for the end of our trip.
